How lucky am I to have had the opportunity to photograph this little bundle of joy?! Baby Payton was about 20 days old when I met her. Parents Amanda and John welcomed me into their home on a Saturday afternoon. Baby Payton was fast asleep in Amanda's arms, and looked like a tiny angel. Payton came into the world a little ahead of schedule and certainly made her presence known! Amanda and John weren't quite expecting this early arrival so thank goodness for family and friends who offered their support and getting their home ready for baby Payton's homecoming. This little one was such a joy to photograph, she woke up and needed a few cuddles at times, but I squeezed in several beautiful frames and am elated about how they turned out. I also fell in love with Payton's nursery; her walls are decorated with hand painted murals of some of the characters from the Dr. Seuss books along with his well-known quotes. Amanda and John were so layed back and easy going, I thank them for letting me have a few cuddles with Payton, and it was such a pleasure to spend time with the three of them. Thanks again to PeanutnBean for the handmade headbands!

I had so much fun photographing Ashley & Andrew for their engagement session at the Experimental Farm a couple of Saturdays ago. The Experimental Farm was in full bloom and certainly not short of people touring the grounds for the start of the Tulip Festival. Ashley and Andrew handled themselves so well in front of the camera(s) and I couldn't be happier with the results of these photographs. These two are so sweet together and really had no issues when I demanded a kiss or a tender look; they were right in the moment. I really enjoyed spending time with these two and hearing about their wedding plans (date set for August 18!) and I am elated to be photographing their wedding! This session would have not been possible without my friend and assistant Caroline, who is a superstar! Ashley and Andrew did a fabulous job and I am super excited to share some of these frames with you all!

On Saturday I was invited by Melissa Lafrance Events to photograph her hand crafted wedding décor for Angela and Jamie's wedding. Melissa informed me that Angela (the bride) was looking for getting ready photos, so I was very lucky to squeeze in some beautiful photos of Angela and her crew getting ready the morning of her wedding. Their venue was the Château Monsarrat in Gatineau which was stunning! It was intimate and perfect for their 50 or so guests. Angela looked breathtaking, she was glowing all day! She was really the most relaxed and down to earth bride I have met, and I felt so at ease with her. Melissa's décor was perfect for the venue and it wasn't hard to see how much work and detail she puts into her wedding decorations! Thank you to Melissa again for inviting me to share in Angela's special day, and special thanks to Angela, you are one gorgeous bride!

My good friends Ryan and Daniela had a civil ceremony in Ottawa this part Saturday before jet setting to Mexico for their intimate beach wedding. I had the pleasure of capturing these two lovebirds on the day of their official nuptials! Take a look at these two in action, they are totally in love and totally cute together! Last Saturday I met up with Ashley, Justin and their sweet 1 and 1/2 year old daughter Danika at Beaver Pond in Kanata. Ashley and Justin are from Smith Falls and are getting married June 2 this year. Ashley and Justin had requested family photos seeing as Danika is playing a big part in the wedding day as the flower girl! Danika is certainly one photogenic child as you will see in the photos! Her vibrant blue eyes popped in every picture! Ashley and Justin are a lovely couple and are super excited to get married! Its easy to feel the love between this family and I think the photos express these sentiments. Thanks to Ashley, Justin and Danika for a great session! Looking forward to the wedding!!
