During the Easter long weekend I had the pleasure of paying a visit to my friend Muy who I know from work. Muy has two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Abigail. Sophia and Abigail are not that far apart in age, but they certainly are polar opposites when it comes to personality! Sophia was the one to greet me as soon as I walked in the door and she was ready for her photo shoot! Abigail took her time and eventually came out of her shell to join the excitement. We went for a stroll to a local park where I was able to get some "action" shots of fun in the sand! Sophia and Abigail are two very lovely little girls and I hope I get to take more of their photos in the future! Thanks Muy for letting me into your home and allowing me to share these photos!

When I arrived at Ange and Dave's, Ashely was just falling asleep, lucky for me she stayed that way for a good portion of the session so I took advantage and was able to get some very sweet photos. I had so much fun and I want to thank Ange and Dave for inviting me into their home to photography their little girl! I hope that it won't be the last time and all the best to Dave and Ange on their bundle of joy!

The snow is starting to melt, birds are coming out of hiding and love is in the air! I had the privilege of assisting Anna Jones Photography with Steph and John's engagement session at Hogs back on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Steph and John are getting married this October in Wakefield and they wanted to capture winter in it's last breaths before it all melted away. Hogs back was mostly a blanket of snow, but grass was started to show and the sun was warm and cozy. Steph and John are a lovely couple, very sweet and receptive to each other. I adore the tender moments they shared on camera and they speak of the love they have for each other. I know their wedding will be stunning, and October's scenery will set the stage for their picturesque fall wedding. Congrats to Steph and John on their engagement and thank you to Anna Jones Photography for allowing me to tag along!
While on our walk we encountered a family feeding the birds, we "borrowed" some seeds and after a bit of waiting we were able to capture this very sweet moment!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of being asked by a good friend of mine to photograph the very sweet and adorable Chloe and Avery, who happen to be twins! I arrived on Sunday with my basket full of goodies ready for our photo session! Kevin & Jenny welcomed me into their home and allowed me to "take over" their home temporarily. I had so much fun getting to know this warm, loving family. They are totally smitten by their two little ones. Chloe and Avery are easily distinguishable; Chloe is the one with the head of hair, and twin sister Avery is just as cute, but with a bit less hair! You will easily see the difference. I certainly got my baby fix by being able to hold Chloe and Avery and give them some snuggles. Thank you to Kevin & Jenny for being so accommodating and I hope I get to see your little ones again soon!

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing the Hollinger family in their home in Ottawa South. A month or so back, Jenn had contact me through my site requesting new updated portraits of her beautiful daughters Emmie and Paige. Little did I know how absolutely adorable these two young ladies were! Emmie, who just turned 4, has a vibrant personality and was ready to pose as soon as I walked in the door! Paige, who just turned 2, and a little more camera shy, mimicked Emmie's every move and was just as sweet as can be. Shawn & Jenn were just about the kindest couple I've ever met and I had so much fun photographing the entire family in their element. I look forward to future family sessions with the Hollingers and am very happy to have met them! Here are some of my faves from Sunday!
